Tuesday October 18th 2016 – Venue : The Assembly Room
A talk by Bob France, from Uppark House, on Pompeo Batoni , an 18th century Italian Portrait Painter

Wednesday November 2nd 2016 – A visit to the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton for a performance of Verdi’s “Macbeth” by Welsh National Opera

A talk by Sian Walters entitled “Canaletto in England”

Monday December 5th 2016 – Venue : The Assembly Room
A talk by Peter Medhurst entitled ” The Musical World of Venice”

Wednesday January 18th 2017 – Venue : The Assembly Room
“Urbino, the one-eyed Duke’s Renaissance”- a talk by Christopher Herbert

Wednesday February 15th 2017 – Venue : The Assembly Room
“The Della Robbia Family – Sculptors and Potters of Renaissance Italy”- a presentation by Anne Haworth

Tuesday March 14th 2017 – Venue : The Assembly Room
An artist from Lavant, Richard Whincop, talking about painting in Calabria

Tuesday April 25th 2017 – “Visions of Venice”- an illustrated talk on photography and film by Sarah Quill

May 2017 – (Date T.B.A.) – usually reserved for the Annual Dinner, to be arranged nearer the time

Wednesday June 14th 2017 –  The Annual General Meeting, to be followed by a talk
